What fish can you catch in Mauritius?

Blue marlin, black marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, skipjack, mahi-mahi, wahoo and trevally. Peak marlin season runs from about October to April; tuna, mahi-mahi and wahoo can be caught for much of the year.

Half day, full day or reef fishing

A half day (5 hours) is enough for tuna, mahi-mahi and often a sailfish. A full day (8 hours) gives you time to go after marlin. Reef fishing, with a line near the reef facing Le Morne, is one for the family, in the morning or the afternoon.
